This Vintage Danish Modern Teak Four Drawer Chest by Svend Aage Madsen for Falster is a meticulously preserved example of Madsen’s progressive yet tasteful design style. The sculpted solid wood pulls which adorn all four drawers have been often imitated, but never with the subtle sophistication seen here. Inward angled trim directs the eye toward this signature detail while lending perspective. All surfaces showcase carefully selected teak veneer in original satin finish which is without significant flaws. The solid teak trim and floating base afford the subtle contrast of a slightly darker wood tone.
