Danish Modern Teak Dining Table with Six Chairs by Hans Olsen for Frem Rojle

This amazing teak dining set by Hans Olsen for Frem Rojle exemplifies the modernist preference for clean, uninterrupted lines. When not in use, the back of each chair integrates neatly into the table’s apron to form a continuous curve. With the folding leaf hidden, four chairs fit. With the leaf expanded, all six chairs integrate. The chairs do not sacrifice comfort for style- they are supportive and sturdy, and perfectly matched with the table in terms of ergonomics.  This set is as pleasing to the eye as it is satisfying to the intellect- a true masterpiece of modern design. The chairs are constructed of solid teak. The table top and leaves are clad in select teak veneer, with legs, trim, and apron of solid teak. The six chairs are upholstered in black vinyl with no signs of wear. This set is structurally perfect, with minimal wear appropriate for a piece of this age seen on the table top. The table is stamped 1965.

This rare rosewood dining table by Skovby is accompanied by 8 elegant and comfortable matching rosewood dining chairs by Benny Linden. The table includes two leaves which allow it to seat 8 with room to spare, or downsize to a spacious or compact six seater. The set is in perfect structural condition, with wear appropriate for a well kept table of its age.  This Danish table measures 65 inches long with no leaves inserted, each leaf measuring 19.5″ for a total expansion of 104 inches.

Set of 4 Black Walnut Dining Chairs by Drexel Declaration

Made creatively and well, these gorgeous, spindle back chairs feature a sculpted walnut, flattened cattail design on the backrest, and slender, splayed, tapered legs.  Intense figuring in the walnut appears both on the seat and spindles.  Constructed of solid walnut, each chair has a seat height 17.5 inches
