This is an original bent plywood Mid-Century Modern chair designed by Carter Brothers.  The dual cushion design dates this piece as mid 50’s;  after 1958, the chair was redesigned using a single cushion for the seat and back.  The walnut shell has been refinished in our workshop. The foam cushions have been replaced and provide an exceedingly comfortable repose. Both cushions have been reupholstered with new, matte black vinyl.  As rare as the single-cushion version is, the two-cushion model is even more sought-after and particularly difficult to find.  This super cool, vintage chair has a seat height of 14 inches.

With a gorgeous profile, this vintage chair features a band of teak along the top border of the backrest that extends to the armrests and culminates in an upward curve.  This sculpted wood detail gives this chair an exceptionally elegant appearance. The textured fabric woven with various orange and beige hues and double welt cording highlights the wood tone and accentuates its curvature. The seat height of this fabulous, Mid Century Modern chair measures 15 inches high.

Constructed of solid walnut, this newly restored vintage armchair features new foam, new upholstery, and new strapping.  The medium density foam paired with the straps offers firm, comfortable support.  The fabric is an avocado green with a subtle herringbone pattern. With a spindled back and a gorgeous profile, this mid century chair looks great from any direction.  The seat height measures 18 inches; there is minor wear to the wood consistent with age.
