-SOLD-This svelte mid-century chair was handcrafted in England with a Danish Modern Style. We replaced the original upholstered armrests with select figured birch to give a refreshing contrast of wood tones, and did a total refinish on this chair after finding these vintage cushions in excellent condition which are a perfect fit. The contours on this piece are exquisite and the construction is top notch. The lines are a bit longer than in most Danish Modern chairs, resulting in an attitude of elegant repose. This piece was one of our all time favorite restorations.

❖SOLD❖ This pair of mid-century modern walnut framed armchairs have floating backs with a distinctive profile that smacks of Danish modern influence.  The chairs are wearing fabulous original chartreuse vinyl, a very popular shade in 1960s vintage furniture.  Incredibly comfortable and in great vintage condition, this set would meld well with todays contemporary furniture.

-SOLD- This mid-century modern walnut dining room table by Young Furniture of NC has seen a complete refinishing and comes with six high back chairs similar to Kent Coffey’s design from the Perspecta Line. This table is the sturdiest of it’s type we’ve ever carried. The solid ash chairs, also by Young, reveal superior structure with gobs of mid-century character. The set includes 2 Captain’s chairs with elegant curved arm rests. The seat cushions have been reupholstered with a simple red linen fabric allowing the focus to be on the warm tones of the wood.
