<SOLD>This vibrant vinyl lounge chair from the Viko line by Baumritter has a faux bois tubular metal frame, solid walnut armrests, and a tilting back rest for the ultimate in comfort.  Faux bois (from the French for false wood) refers to the artistic imitation of wood or wood grains in various media.  The contrast between the bold fire orange vinyl with complimentary cording, and the dark walnut tones is arresting.  This profile features sharp angles and severely angled back legs.  This funky and fabulous chair measures 22″W X 24″D X 29″H with a seat height of 16 inches.  Sold for $150 11/26/16

<SOLD>This sumptuous mid-century lounge chair by Kroehler features a beautiful walnut base in the style of Adrian Pearsall.  The recently upholstered peach colored fabric is soft to the touch and cushions are extra comfortable. The slightly tilted back with three centered buttons lends a non-conventional yet pleasant symmetry, and the boxy armrests and seat cushion have a simple, non-fussy modern appearance. <SOLD> This curvaceous Mid Century Modern Scoop Chair & Ottoman designed by Milo Baughman features a refinished walnut frame, new upholstery with tufted buttons and an absurdly cool profile.  Designed in 1953, this iconic piece has artistically sculpted arms and legs that curve, taper, and flare in all the right places.  The body of the chair and is adorned with tightly woven upholstery grade fabric and elegant tufted buttons.  Sealed with tung oil that penetrates and protects the wood from within, the highly figured walnut frame has been lovingly restored on both pieces.  With its slightly reclined shape, the scoop design of the chair provides the ultimate in comfort.  The ottoman measures 28″ wide x 20″ deep x 15″ high.  This exquisite example of mid century modern design combines both form and function, and is not just a piece of furniture, but a work of art.   Sold on 11/04/2016 for $1800

This is an amazing pair of atomic age bar stools with original black speckled gray vinyl seats, black tubular metal legs, and a profile straight out of the Jetsons.  The ergonomic seat is a round edged triangle that is very comfortable.  A tubular chrome footrest surrounds the base.  The vinyl seat covering is a dark shade of gray – a perfect neutral color for contemporary decor.  Supported by three legs, these stools are counter height at 29 inches high.  Price is for the set

This unique mid century modern swivel lounge chair is the ultimate in comfort and has been reupholstered in durable, high quality sage green fabric.  The four prong wooden base is reminiscent of tables by famed sculptor and designer Isamu Noguchi.  The armrests are supported by cylindrical walnut pieces that tie into the aesthetics of the base.  This luxe lounger rocks and swivels.  Accented with a multitude of tufted buttons, this incredibly plush chair is the most comfortable chair we have ever carried.   Measures 33″W X 27″D X 38″H with a seat height of 19 inches.
