<SOLD>This exceptional MCM walnut credenza by Stanley features solid wood legs that are integrated with the front and side panels of the frame. There are three drawers on the right with thin, narrow solid brass pulls, and cabinet on the left with simple wood cone pulls with a brass center and a circular brass back plate. One fixed interior shelf lies behind the cabinet door. This well designed vintage piece is made from a poplar frame overlaid with select walnut veneer. After removing the monochromatic factory finish, the dramatic figuring in the wood revealed itself and the contrasting tones are captivating. <SOLD> This classic Danish Modern walnut Lounge Chair designed by Jens Risom features slim, sophisticated curves and brand new teal upholstery. A single row of three buttons adorn the backrest. The deep burgundy finish of the walnut frame gives the perfect contrast to vibrant teal fabric, and will tie in well with teak or walnut wood tones. Jens Risom is a Danish American furniture designer who was one of the first designers to introduce Scandinavian design to the United States. The signature dovetail motif of the Acclaim line adorns the drawer fronts and cabinet door. The case and trim have been refinished to match the original finish on the drawers, door, and base, which are all in excellent condition. This vintage piece is constructed of a poplar overlaid with select walnut veneer. The trim , base, and legs appear to be oak or ash. Acclaim credenzas are rare, especially with the burgundy finish. <SOLD>This exquisite mid century modern gentleman’s chest is a work of art. Three dimensional sculpted walnut triangles adorn the doors of the upper section of the chest and the door of the nightstand. Behind the doors of the dresser lies three smooth sliding drawers. There are two spacious lower drawers that have solid wood tear drop shaped pulls on either side. A recessed edge defines the upper and lower sections. Completely refinished, this unique piece revels in its restoration. The chest measures 37″W X 19″D X 50″H. The nightstand has one adjustable interior shelf and measures 21″W X 16″D X 24″H. Sold 11/13/16 for $1000/set.
