The pronounced edges of the trim lend definition to the robust profile of this dignified sideboard, while the vertical multi-angular walnut elements on the door fronts catch the eye from every vantage point. Clean, crisp edges on the solid wood tapered legs complete this captivating mid-mod design. This piece is constructed of solid poplar overlaid with select walnut veneer. All four doors open and shut smoothly. Manufactured in our home state of Virgina, this mid century modern credenza has excellent storage capacity with three drawers and two cabinets with interior shelving.  Perfect as a media console, a dining room sideboard, or as a storage piece in any room, this vintage cabinet displays a beautiful array of black walnut veneer adorned by the stainless steel conical pulls with black back-plates that define this line. This credenza has a laminate wood top that withstands moisture and scratches and laughs at furniture abuse; great choice for a home with children!

This gorgeous vintage walnut credenza by United Furniture features double fluted doors hung on brass piano hinges, which open to reveal shelved cabinets. Three central drawers offer additional storage options. All hinges and slides work smoothly, and there are no structural flaws. The original amber finish is in excellent condition for it’s age with only a few minor scratches.  The horizontal brass drawer pulls have a branch-like profile which lends an element of naturalism and offers contrast the vertical fluted detail of the doors. These two design elements,  along with the central recess in the cantilevered top, bring a measure of classical perspective to this otherwise minimalist design. This compact sideboard will make a handsome addition to any collection.

Mid Century Modern Kent Coffey Perspecta Two Door Credenza in Walnut and Rosewood

This beautifully refinished Mid-Century Modern Credenza from Kent Coffey’s Perspecta line displays eye-catching rosewood sculptural pulls on the double doors which bookend it’s three central drawers. Each door conceals a spacious cabinet for versatile storage. The case, doors, and drawer fronts are clad in amber walnut veneer which perfectly complements the deep tones of the rosewood. The legs and trim
are constructed of solid ash which has been dyed to match the adjoining surfaces. The piece has been refinished in a Tung oil varnish to provide optimum water resistance and durability. Several veneer chips were repaired before refinishing. This lovely credenza is structurally perfect and will be a centerpiece in your home for years to come.

Mid Century Modern Walnut Credenza by Basic Witz

Modest rosewood diamond inlays behind solid brass conical pulls on each drawer is the distinguishing feature of this mid century modern walnut credenza by Basic Witz. There are two sizable drawers running across the top portion with two cabinet doors beneath.  Each door is accented with a vertical solid walnut strip.  One long, continuous built-in shelf spans the length of the interior.  This buffet was manufactured by Basic Witz, a furniture company located in Waynesboro in our home state of Virginia. Basic-Witz Furniture was in business from 1889 into the mid 1970s, when it was bought by Stanley Furniture, another company based in Virginia.  This vintage storage piece has been completely refinished in our workshop and a minor veneer repair has been made that blends seamlessly with the rest of the piece, barely visible to the naked eye. Close up photos of these repairs have been included. This case piece can be used as a buffet in a dining room, as a media console for your widescreen television, or as a storage piece in any room.
