This vintage lounge chair by Barrit Furniture Corporation features soft curves which are as comfortable as they are pleasing to the eye. The original olive green wool upholstery is ever so soft with a beautifully nubby texture, and the amber walnut finish on the slightly splayed legs affords a tasteful contrast to the lovely fabric. This chair is in perfect structural condition with no visible flaws in the fabric.  There is nominal overall wear which should be expected of a very well kept vintage piece. The design of this chair is reminiscent of Saarinen and Pearsall, but has an identity all its own.  This fabulous armchair has a seat height of 18 inches.

Mid Century Modern Steel Framed Swivel Armchair by Homecrest

This innovative chair is solidly built with a steel frame and base and equipped with castors for easy maneuverability.  The original black vinyl seat covering is one cohesive piece which prevents slipping of the cushions.  The armrests are padded and covered with a the same vinyl fabric.  This sturdy vintage chair has a spayed steel base with a brass finish that is connected by cylindrical steel rods.  Ostensibly designed as a patio chair, this piece is equally at home inside or out and lounges like a comfortable, deck chair.

Mid Century Armchair with Light Green Wool Upholstery

This stylish and comfy mid century armchair features original light green upholstery and a sleek wooden base in the style of Adrian Pearsall.  It is in excellent structural condition with very little wear on the wool upholstery. There are a few barely noticeable discolorations at the back of the seat cushion. It is a lovely chair overall, but we do offer upholstery services if you would like it re-covered.

Mid Century Modern Swooped Arm Walnut Lounge Chair & Ottoman in the Style of Kofod Larsen

<SOLD> This mid century modern designer lounge chair features swooped armrests, unique triangular spindled backrest, and solid walnut construction.  Fully restored with new components including foam, fabric and supportive webbing, this vintage lounge takes on a new life.  Medium density foam was used when recreating the cushions for a soft but firm seat.  Durable webbing and new clasps provide structural integrity and confident support.  The upholstery grade fabric is a natural, organic wheat tone with a slightly variegated appearance.  With a twist to the spindled backrest, each support has a slightly triangular profile, a feature present in other chairs designed by Larsen. The lines, proportions, and quality of material suggest Kofod Larsen as the designer, while the construction leads us to believe the chair and ottoman were manufactured by Selig, for whom Larsen designed many chairs. We have not, however, been able to find definitive proof of this chair’s origin. G-Plan is another possibility for manufacturer. The chair measures 25″W X 34″D X 28″H with a seat height of 16 inches.  The ottoman measures 24.5″W X 21.5″D X 14″H

Mid Century Modern Lounge Chair with Solid Bent Wood Arms

<SOLD> This mid-century modern bent wood lounge chair features new strapping, new foam, and brand new fabric.  The armrests are bent solid hardwood, not plywood, and have been refinished to match the original finish on the rest of the chair which is in excellent condition. This chair’s design is of Danish modern inspiration, but we believe it was made in Yugoslavia based on the material and style of construction. It is exceedingly sturdy, and is wider than most chairs of it’s type, making it equally comfortable for both large and small people.  Sold on 3/11/17 for $550
