The fabric is a weave of tan & brown making it a great choice for those who appreciate earth tones or are in search of a neutral fabric to blend with their existing decor. The wood is in exemplary condition, but a small repair was done in our wood shop to ensure stability. Each chair has the original label from the corporate offices on Park Ave. NY and would look great with a small table or as accent chairs in any room. Sold for $150/each

Mid-Century Modern Viko Lounge Chairs by Baumritter

-SOLD- Mid-century modern bent plywood lounge chairs by Viko Furniture Corporation, a division of Baumritter (precursor to Ethan Allen) with molded walnut armrests, steel frames and original cushions. Each chair has a spindled steel back & one chair back is lower than the other – His & Hers as it were. The faux bois (false wood) texture on the steel frames is an interesting contrast to the voluptuous curves of the molded walnut sides. Metal construction allows for the slim legs to achieve a near-horizontal posture which would be structurally impractical with wood legs of this thickness. The result is a comfortable, supportive, and stylish chair which gently draws the eye across it’s sumptuous contours. Each chair measures 31″W X 28″D with a seat height of 15 inches.

Vintage 60’s La-Z-Boy Rocker Recliner
