<SOLD> With round white ceramic knobs, and top notch walnut stock, this highly collectible Mid Century credenza from the Declaration line by Drexel Furniture is in immaculate original condition. This cabinet is from the Declaration collection by Drexel Furniture designed by Kipp Stewart and Stuart MacDougall for Drexel, circa 1950. Interior lighting that is activated when opening each side door is intact and operational. The top drawers have high quality wooden dividers to keep items organized. With striking brass hardware and signature wave motif, this piece was designed by Broyhill furniture to pay homage to Oscar Niemeyer, known world-wide as the chief architect behind Brazil’s capital city, Brasilia. The top surface of this gorgeous vintage walnut credenza has been refinished in our workshop and matches the original finish perfectly. <SOLD>This exceptional MCM walnut credenza by Stanley features solid wood legs that are integrated with the front and side panels of the frame. There are three drawers on the right with thin, narrow solid brass pulls, and cabinet on the left with simple wood cone pulls with a brass center and a circular brass back plate. One fixed interior shelf lies behind the cabinet door. This well designed vintage piece is made from a poplar frame overlaid with select walnut veneer. After removing the monochromatic factory finish, the dramatic figuring in the wood revealed itself and the contrasting tones are captivating.
