<SOLD> This elegant walnut mid-century dining table features the sultry curves, eye-catching profile, and sturdy construction of the iconic Perspecta line by Kent Coffey. The original lacquer finish showcases a select black walnut veneer top supported by tastefully contoured hardwood legs. With the included leaf, the table’s length is 72″, allowing for eight to sit comfortably given the generous 42″ width. Without the leaf, as seen here, it becomes a compact six seater.

The table slides open easily without moving the legs & the leaves are stored beneath the table for easy access. It has the beautiful warm amber glow that only teak can emanate and is constructed incredibly well. This table measures 65″L X 45″W X 28.5″H with no leaves inserted. Each additional leaf measures 20 inches for a total expansion of 105″ long. Teak is one of the hardest, most durable and strongest of the hardwoods and this table will last a lifetime. $899
The largest piece in Epoch’s own Anthology Collection, this rustic dining table exemplifies the creativity and craftsmanship which abound in our wood shop. We use pre-industrial joinery and hand tools to give our work a primitive authenticity equalled only by it’s rugged durability. The table top features a dozen species of locally sourced lumber connected by an array of thoughtfully placed dovetail joints. Most of this material is reclaimed from industrial sources. Each top is a result of lengthy deliberation on the proper placement of each piece of wood based on its color, grain, and textural qualities.
The stout legs seen here come from an antique poplar beam out of the original Siewers lumber mill, possibly dating back to the 19th century. The beautifully aged patina was maintained on as many surfaces as possible. The poplar stretcher which underlies the table is connected to maple cross members by a keyed mortise and tenon joint, a tasteful reference to the craftsmanship of our forefathers.
