<SOLD> This handsome set of six mid-century dining chairs by the Young Furniture Company features new navy blue upholstery, original amber finish in excellent condition, sophisticated Danish-inspired lines, and super-sturdy construction. The curved, slightly reclined backs are attached with brass connectors which complement the rich tones of the hardwood frames. The cushions sit slightly forward to give a semi-floating effect, and thin side supports between front legs and back stabilize the structure while maintaining a light visual weight. There are 2 captain’s chairs and 4 armless chairs. $399

Mid Century Modern Dining Set by Pulaski Furniture

<SOLD> This mid century modern pecan dining set with one leaf and six chairs was made in our home state of Virginia by Pulaski Furniture Company.  Pulaski Corporation acquired its first permanent showroom space in Chicago, Illinois, at the American Furniture Market in October 1957, and made its mark with the “Pulaski look,” a highly stylized furniture line.  The dining table has one butterfly leaf, one Captain’s Chair and five arm less chairs with a backrest panel of tightly woven rattan.  All rattan is perfectly intact, a rarity in vintage furniture.  The tapered legs have three narrow spindles capped with brass.  This design provides exceptional support.    All chairs have two inch thick foam seats and wear new thick, stain resistant, charcoal gray fabric that will enhance virtually any decor.  This table has a high gloss lacquer sheen and measures 40″W X 60″L X 30″H with a length of 72 inches with the leaf inserted.  Sold for $425 11/26/16

<SOLD>This Danish Modern inspired set of Mid-Century Modern dining chairs circa 1962 designed by John O. Van Koert for Drexel’s Profile Series are in excellent original condition.  This vintage chair set includes two armchairs, and four side chairs. Each chair back has a series of delicately spindled backs – all intact. The original upholstery has been replaced with a fabulous slate blue duck fabric which is very durable and easy to clean.  This is an absolutely stunning set for your mid century modern home!  Set of 6 Chairs – Sold 10/1/16 for $750
