This expandable Danish teak dining table features primitive abstract ceramic inlays initialed by the artist. It includes one leaf measuring 18 inches and slides apart smoothly using notched channels. There are four metal clasps that hold the table top together when leaf is not inserted. This oval table likely dates back to the 1980’s. The top surface has been sanded and freshly coated with protective teak oil . A few superficial scratches and minor discoloration remain. The underside of the table is stamped “Made in Denmark” as documented in photos. This vintage dining table measures 58.5 inches long without the leaf inserted and will accommodate 8 guests comfortably, depending on the size of your dining chairs.
