Description
This mid century modern cedar chest was manufactured in 1962 by Lane of Altavista, Virginia. Fully lined with aromatic cedar, this storage piece safely accommodates sweaters, blankets, and bedding. The minimal design includes a faux drawer on the bottom with conical brass hardware, slender tapered legs, and select black walnut veneer. There are a few professional wood fills and replacement trim on either side of the front panel, documented in photos. Clean and structurally sound, this restored vintage chest is in very good restored condition.
