These beautiful side tables from Lane’s Rhythm collection are constructed of solid poplar overlaid with walnut veneer. Their amber finish is compatible walnut or teak and their minimalist profile makes them stylistically versatile. There is ample storage space on the tops and lower shelves, yet the open design carries a light visual weight. These multi-purpose tables are in perfect structural condition and good cosmetic shape for their age.
This unique set of side tables is constructed of bamboo bound by strips of wicker. The base has three organic poles that branch upward and connect to a circular piece of bamboo. A rattan insert rests within the frame and supports a circular glass top which floats below the spiked edges. The insert has a small circular opening in the base providing the perfect nest for growing and displaying plants.
This eclectic pair of walnut end tables designed by Andre Bus for the First Edition Collection by Lane C. 1966 features sharp angles, built up sides and a sculpted drawer front. Because of its Danish influence, this line is also known as the “Scandia” collection. Each side panel extends above the horizontal surface creating a “fin” resulting in a dramatic angular profile. The solid poplar top and side panels are overlaid with rich, black walnut harvested in our native state of Virginia. A sculpted angular lip provides a significant recessed area that acts as the pull for the drawer. The result of this dramatic design is powerful and breathtaking. The tops and drawer fronts have been refinished to match the original finish on all other surfaces. We use a high quality tung oil varnish which far surpasses the original lacquer in water resistance and durability.
This Danish Modern teak side table features a decorative tile surface in a four part symmetrical pattern. Solid teak legs and trim match the quarter sawn teak veneer which surrounds the earth toned tile inlay. This versatile table can serve multiple purposes in the living, bedroom, or den.
This unique vintage side table has a dark walnut sculpted base in the style of Adrian Pearsall and Noguchi and is topped with 1/4 glass. The glass is formed into the shape of a shield and rests on rubber bumpers to prevent sliding. Both sections are in very good condition with a few minor scratches on the glass top. The dimensions of this piece make it small enough to fit almost anywhere.
