There is a convenient aperture in the back panel for electrical cords. This opening has been neatly covered with veneer which can remain in place if you prefer to use it as shelving. With the hinged leaf extended, it opens into an impressive table, desk, or large buffet. When folded it’s outer surfaces display subtle straight grained teak veneer with a warm, even tone-when open it showcases solid brass oval inset hinges and an interesting elliptical grain pattern with dramatic variegation. Danish Modern Modular Wall Unit by Omni

<SOLD>This versatile piece started out as a Danish Modern modular wall unit by Omni, but the support structure seemed inadequate, so we custom built a wood frame and tapered wood legs to match, making it something truly unique. The frame is solid oak joined with open mortise and tenon joints at the corners, which are rounded to an elliptical profile to match the pulls. The outward flared front legs add stability and mid century style. The top cabinet’s double doors open to reveal a removeable shelf, while the lower cabinet features two shallow and two file-size drawers. The middle shelf is perfect for books or curios. Measures 33″w x 18″d x 72″h ~Sold for $499 6/30/2016

One long drawer spans the width of the interior featuring a sliding compartmentalized felt lined tray. Open cabinet space provides more storage beneath the drawer.
