The shallow drawers behind the center panel are all pristine and slide smoothly and evenly. With the doors sliding out of sight, this is an excellent piece to serve as a perch for a widescreen television and to store your media components. The top surface does show minor wear consistent with age.

Possibly the coolest of all vintage bent wood chairs, the Mr. Chair by George Mulhauser for Plycraft can be enjoyed equally as a sculpture or a mode of seating. Its aerodynamic curves give it an attitude of perpetual motion, yet it appears comfortable and inviting from every angle. The bent armrests unfold outward naturally , foreshadowing the repose which this elegant chair affords the user. All surfaces of the molded shell display exquisite black walnut which is complemented by the original black vinyl upholstery. The base features black walnut veneer to match the shell; the same material is used on the ottoman. This chair and ottoman are in excellent condition for their age with no major cosmetic flaws. The original headrest is in fair condition and included in price. Structure is sound, but one of the bushings in the chair bases will need to be replaced soon. This part is readily available for $64 and can be easily installed.
