Mid Century Modern Shell Chair Model DAH by Eames for Herman Miller C.1959

This is an authenticated vintage Eames for Herman Miller shell chair model DAH. The mocha brown color is very rare in Eames fiberglass chairs. The distinctive Herman Miller insignia is embossed on the chair’s bottom. The shock mounts, H-style base and hardware all appear to be original.  The fiber grain is incredible on this timeless, iconic chair.  As comfortable as it is stylish, this mid century modern armchair blends with all styles of furniture design.  The latest patent on the sticker was issued in 1959, placing the probable date of production at 1959/1960.  The plastic fiberglass armchair is one of the most famous designs of Charles and Ray Eames, and is still popular today.

This Danish Modern circular dining table features a gorgeous, warm, amber teak in excellent condition.  This vintage table rests on a pedestal base and includes two additional leaves each measuring 19.5 inches wide.  There is no apron on the table providing a sleek, clean profile.  The set of 4 chairs designed by Niels Møller are priced separately and not included with the table.

This ridiculously comfortable Norwegian lounge chair is clad in supple, slate gray leather, perfect for today’s contemporary decor.  The chair swivels, rocks, and reclines with an extendable headrest to accommodate the height of the user.  The base of both the chair and ottoman is solid wood painted black.  An adjustable wheel on the side locks the chair into position.  The thick, high quality leather is in very good condition with minimal wear.  This vintage ergonomic chair is as comfortable as it is stylish.

This set of four Neils Moller Model #71 teak dining chairs is in excellent condition cosmetically and structurally. The original Danish corded seats are completely intact, and the original wood finish shows little signs of wear.  A matching teak dining table attributed to Moller is available separately (SOLD).  All of Moller’s chairs are intensely desirable in today’s market, and sets in this condition are especially hard to find.

The new fabric is both durable and stylish with an understated grey geometric print on a beige background. The table includes one leaf which allows it to seat six in comfort.
