<SOLD> This mid century modern triple walnut dresser with handcrafted Ambrosia Maple drawer pulls, has louvered drawers & tapered legs. This exceptionally well made mid century dresser is constructed from solid hardwood overlaid with walnut veneer.  The back edge of the top has a subtle upward curve providing a sculpted element to this piece.  All drawers are louvered creating a shingle effect.  Contrasting light maple pulls marbled with darker streaks & decorative patchwork created by the presence of the ambrosia beetle have been attached to each drawer front.  Ambrosia maple comes from regular soft maple and Hard Maple trees that have been infested by the ambrosia beetle which is terminated during the drying process as this insect needs moisture to survive.  The streaks and patch work add a unique look to this hardwood without affecting its structural integrity. This wood is mostly found in the central part of Eastern United States, and these pieces were salvaged from a custom table we hand crafted in our wood shop for a client.  These strips have been carefully sculpted in our shop and attached to each drawer adding a visual interest. ~$399
