This tasteful minimalist Swedish teak sideboard has been restored to it’s original burgundy color and given a hand rubbed finish true to its original subtle satin sheen. This finely crafted credenza is constructed of strong, lightweight spruce clad in beautiful teak. The veneer used in this piece is a full 1/16″ thick, to give the look, feel, and durability of solid wood. The central cabinet and right hand drop front door lock with interchangeable brass keys. Both keys remain with the piece. The brass locks and hardware are of the highest heavy-duty quality. Two shallow drawers with inset solid teak pulls provide additional storage. One well-executed repair has been done on the front left corner of the cabinet top, resulting in a slight color variation on an area of one square inch or less due to the inherent color difference between the teak used in the repair and the original material of the piece. The legs and stretchers are constructed of  European oak which is a perfect complement to the teak seen on all surfaces of the cabinet.

This is an elegant example of early Scandinavian Modern minimalist design restored with care and accuracy, and will be a wonderful addition to any collection.
