This robust mid century credenza by Stanley features four doors decorated with a repeating hourglass motif of rosewood inlay, which highlights the select walnut veneer background. All other surfaces are clad in walnut veneer, with quarter sawn rosewood trim accenting both ends of the top. The underlying structure is solid poplar. Two of the doors conceal drawer storage, while the other two open to reveal a cabinet with adjustable shelf. A simple stretcher base of oak supports the case, with feet clad in metal end caps. The top shows wear appropriate for the age of the piece, with a few scratches visible upon close inspection. The door fronts and sides are in excellent condition with no significant defects.
