Description
This refinished walnut desk has a small footprint and features thin tapered legs, contrasting walnut veneer, and brass ferrules. This well made desk uses dovetail joinery on all of the drawers; all drawers slide smoothly. The Formica top has been treated to simulate the appearance of real wood. There are three drawers on the left, one of which is double the depth for filing purposes. The shallow center drawer has veneer with grain that is perpendicular to the case creating visual interest. The back of the desk is finished allowing it to float in an open concept room. This is a genuine mid century modern piece and as such may have some form of wear consistent with age. The kneehole opening measures 20.5 inches wide and 25.5 inches high
