Description
This innovative desk by Peter Lovig Nielsen features a shelf that flips over creating a large, flat work surface. This organizational shelf has two storage boxes on either side with exposed dovetail construction. When the shelf lies flat, there are organizational compartments on the back side as well. There are four smooth sliding shallow drawers with sculpted circular, teak pulls. The pull on the far left hand side has been recreated to original specs in our workshop and is documented in the last photo. Original brass hinges support the upper shelf. This mid century modern executive carries a maker’s mark on the underside reading “Lovig Dansk Designs Denmark” and a stamped date reading 1976. This rare executive desk is in excellent condition. The writing surface measures 38 inches with the top flat.
