This extremely comfortable vintage lounge chair is a high quality vintage reproduction that respects the original design by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. This Mid Century chaise features a solid steel frame with tightly wound springs that offer superior support. We chose to reupholster this iconic piece in a thick, cognac vinyl to offer a contrast and soften the starkness of the frame. The cushion corners are seamless contributing to the sleek profile of the chair. The original steel base shows some minor oxidation, but the tubular metal frame cleaned up beautifully. This is the first and only chair of this kind that we have run across to date, and is clearly a well respected and cherished design.
