Description
This elegant walnut credenza from Broyhill’s famed Brasilia Collection features a well preserved original light brown finish typical of Brasilia 1, the earliest iteration of this iconic line. Both doors display the signature sculpted hyperbola motif inspired by the exterior of the Alvarado Palace located in Brasil’s capitol. The motif is restated in the brass drawer pulls which adorn 3 spacious drawers. This beautiful buffet is in perfect structural condition, with only a few minuscule cosmetic flaws.
The Brasilia Collection made its debut at the 1962 World’s Fair and maintained popularity into the early 1970s, marking one of the longest production runs in mid-20th century American furniture. The current demand for Brasilia furniture demonstrates its intrinsic value and timeless appeal. Before you is a wonderful opportunity to own a true mid-century modern classic in beautiful original condition.
