Description
This exceptional vintage 1960’s credenza consists of two pieces. The lower level features four sliding doors with triangular veneer in two shades of walnut veneer framed with understated, slender, brass accents. The top features a drop front cabinet on the left hand side lined with water resistant white Formica laminate. There are thin, tubular, square, brass supports with long metal rods running through them to connect them to the casing. This genuine mid century modern piece rests on 5 sleek, tapered legs. This versatile piece can be used as a credenza, sideboard or bar. The top surface of the lower level and the upper level has been refinished in our workshop. The second door in, on the left hand side of the lower section cannot be slid all the way to the left due to some veneer warping, but slides easily in the other direction. With attention to detail, and a structurally sound design, this case piece is in excellent refurbished condition with some minor wear consistent with age and use. This stunning piece can be divided and utilized as two separate pieces of furniture.
