This beautifully refinished molded plywood maple chair was designed by Joe Atkinson for Thonet of New York – original paper tag is affixed on the underside of the seat. Featuring angled frame, wooden backrest and seat, this sturdy design has the clean, minimal lines that exemplify mid century modern design. The hard and rigid material provides a remarkably high level of comfort. This single chair makes a classic desk chair with its sculpted wooden seat. Refinished in our workshop with a walnut stain and in excellent condition. Seat height measures 16 inches high.
