Description
With a comfortable repose and a coveted design, this long and low sofa was designed by renown Swedish designer Folke Ohlsson for Dux Furniture. Ohlsson established Dux in San Francisco in the 1950’s and is best remembered for his role in progressing the popularity of Scandinavian furniture in midcentury America. This vintage sofa features a sculpted teak exoskeleton that wraps around the back and measures a 8.5 feet long. The four roomy and comfortable cushions are firm and in good condition though the fabric could use an update. This piece was reupholstered in the 80’s and did not retain its original paper tag. This rare, iconic piece of mid century history has been meticulously maintained and is in very good vintage condition. Seat height measures 16 inches.
