Description
This two piece vintage room divider is from the the Basic Line by Basic Witz and dates back to the mid 1950’s. This fabulous cabinet is finished on both sides and has a plethora of storage options including two cabinets, three drawers, and three shelves. The top, center drawer spans the width of the piece and boasts the original black lacquer with original white faced conical pulls with an inset circular brass plate. Below that are two smaller drawers flanked by two cabinets. Those drawers and cabinets are sculpted on the edges creating a long, vertical oval shape creating visual interest. This mid century modern piece rests on black tapered legs with brass ferrules connected by cylindrical stretches and supported by perpendicular brass pieces. The middle shelf features a thin, brass railing on either side. The top shelf features four sliding glass panels with half moon inset pulls. This creatively designed case piece has been refinished in our workshop and is in excellent restored condition.
