Description
These two vintage floor lamps have brass coated columns with a thin, solid walnut base and upturned, textured, milk glass shades topped with new, three tiered, modern shades. Designed by Gerald Thurston for the Lightolier, these lamps have a sleek, streamlined form and rest on a square, brass base. Both lamps have been rewired, have three way lighting and are in good working order. They emit a soft, warm indirect glow. The waffled glass shades were manufactured by Corning Glass and are in excellent condition. The square brass base and stems have some wear consistent with age, but are in very good vintage condition.
