This spindle back walnut MCM chair by Baumritter (the forerunner of Ethan Allen) is quickly becoming a classic, must have piece for the Mid Century Modern enthusiast. With apparent Danish Modern influence, this chair solid wood construction, original stamp, tapered legs, and a sleek sculptural form. This vintage chair has a slightly tilted backrest for enhanced comfort. The original finish is in great condition, the strapping is new, the seat cushions have been replaced with high density foam and reupholstered in a variegated navy blue vintage wool fabric. This lovely, iconic chair has a seat height of 17 inches.
