Description
These highly sculpted mid century modern armchairs were designed by John Stuart Clingman for John Widdicomb in the 1960s. These rare, walnut lounge chairs feature spindled backs, turned arms, and slender, tapered legs connected by stretchers. Combining style and comfort while maintaining elegance, this pair features new supportive foam cushions, and new variegated upholstery in a soft, pale yellow with thin threads of gray throughout. The wood frames have been refinished and these chairs are in excellent, restored condition. Original paper tag is intact. Price listed is for one Widdicomb chair.
