This iconic vintage credenza was designed by Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall in 1962. Original circular, white, porcelain knobs grace the fronts of the four central drawers, defining this line. The top drawer is divided into four sections for organizational purposes. Drexel’s wood burned logo is located on the right hand side of this dovetailed drawer. Each cabinet is equipped with an interior light which illuminates with a spring loaded button when doors are opened – an innovative feature. Adjustable interior shelving lies behind each doors on either side. The interior of the cabinet on the right features vertical panels for record album storage. This majestic sideboard rests on solid walnut tapered legs connected by a narrow stretcher for support. This rare, iconic, and sought after mid century modern piece is in excellent original condition with one minor veneer repair on the rear, bottom, left hand side as documented in the last photo, visible only under scrutiny .
