Description
This snappy little walnut sewing machine cabinet has been repurposed into a beautiful minibar with a small footprint perfect for a city apartment or brownstone. Long graceful solid walnut tapered legs with painted brass plated ferrules rise to meet a spacious felt-lined cabinet deep enough for highball glasses. The original hinged folding panels that would have enclosed a sewing machine work perfectly as an expanded 48.5 inch bar top surface with room for pouring and mixing drinks when opened. The front has an alternating checkerboard grain pattern and a faux pull that adds a pop of color and detail. The top surfaces and folding panels have been fully refinished with durable Waterlox and feature a luxurious walnut grain and hand carved inlays. This unique piece is in very good vintage condition , with a few small scratches and areas of discoloration typical for age and use that are documented in attached photos.
