This vintage 1964 mid century modern desk from the Acclaim collection by Lane furniture company has enriched character with their signature dovetail inlays adorning the writing surface by. With a total six drawers, five with inset walnut finger pulls, bottom drawer on the right is double the depth for filing purposes. The edges are softly rounded creating gentle sculptured contours. The center drawer is flaked with drawers that operate easily and smoothly on steel ball bearing drawer guides. Only the top 35% grade of black walnut on the market was considered for this furniture. This series was the best selling furniture line in the mid 60’s, and its charm is enduring. This iconic desk has a knee hole height of 24 inches.
