Description
This intriguing mid century modern executive teak desk by renown Danish American furniture designer Jens Risom consists of two detachable pieces and features hidden book shelves, and a nestled, organizational, swinging bin. This top of this storage box is overlaid with white laminate and supported by heavy duty hinges. It is missing the original filing panels, but still has excellent functionality. The main section has a full extension file drawer, a pencil drawer with wooden organizer, and hidden book shelves that line the lower inside of the back. Another hidden shelf lies at the bottom of the corner section. Gorgeous walnut grain cascades down the front and side panels. This mid century modern desk separates into two pieces for easy transport and can be used without the corner extension for smaller spaces. There are superficial scratches on the top surface of the main desk as documented in photos. This impressive piece of mid century modern history has been well maintained showing signs of normal use.
