This Mid Century Modern cabinet from the basic cabinet series was designed by the renown George Nelson for the Herman Miller Company, Zeeland, Michigan. Nelson was one of the leading designers of American modernist movement. This somewhat quirky cabinet has a slick profile with functional elements providing practical storage areas. The pulls on the door and drawer are thin, whimsically curved solid brass. This iconic piece is in very good vintage condition, with a small veneer chip in the lower right hand corner of the door, and mild expected scratches to the top surface and feet.
