This rare Danish modern teak credenza designed by Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Mogens Kold of Denmark, features sliding doors and a finished back. This gorgeous mid century modern sideboard rests on a unique floating base using sculpted solid teak supports made of one continuous piece connected by slender brass rods. The brass rods also appear in the center of the inset circular pulls imparting cohesion. There is a slightly raised lip on the edges of the sides and back. Behind four smooth sliding doors, there are five shallow drawers on the left side, a large storage space with one adjustable/removeable shelf in the center, and an adjustable shelf & a half shelf on the right. A repair was made on the interior of the lower right hand side by the previous owner and is structurally sound. Metal brackets were installed to ensure stability, as seen in photos. There are two sun faded marks on the top that are barely noticeable and a circular spot on the shelf on the right hand side. These character marks have been documented in photos. This is an extraordinary mid century modern gem with superior storage options that is in very good restored condition.
