Description
Newly upholstered foam cushions with highly textured ivory upholstery grade fabric, this rare, authentic MCM lounge chair was designed by Hans Wegner for Getama of Denmark. This Danish piece is dubbed the GE-270 chair and is constructed of a sturdy solid teak wood frame with strong, supportive straps. Resting on svelte, tapered legs, this lounge boasts gently sloped armrests, and an ergonomic backrest with slightly rounded edges. A three legged teak stool designed by fellow Dane Jens Risom has been reupholstered to match and conveys with the chair. Seat height of this phenomenal iconic lounge chair measures 16.5 inches. This is a genuine mid century modern piece, and as such displays some minor wear on the armrest of the chair as depicted in photos.
