Description
This exquisite dining set from American of Martinsville’s Accord Collection designed by Merton Gershun includes six chairs with caned backs and a surfboard-style dining table with two leaves. This line’s signature inlaid aluminum “X” adorns each of the four corners. This mid century modern table rests on slender, tapered legs bestowing a sleek profile. The backrests of the chairs are slightly slanted providing a comfortable, ergonomic repose. The caning and original finish is in very good condition on all pieces, with slight wear appropriate to responsible use. Both table and chairs are in excellent structural condition. Fabric on chair seats is not original, but is in very good condition. Measures 52 inches long without leaves; each leaf measures 12 inches wide for a maximum extension of 76 inches.
