This mid century modern floor lamp designed by Gerald Thurston for Lightolier features an artistic yet simple design offering flexible functionality. The name “Lightolier” is a combination of “light” and “chandelier” and this company was one of the pioneering electric lighting companies in the United States. The lamp has a vented melamine lamp shade and bottom diffusers providing a clear, white glow. The curved metal base offers a slightly imbalanced profile, and is the practical yet lively choice for a reading lamp positioned over your favorite seating. There is a small blemish near the switch, but otherwise no visible flaws. This designer lamp maintains its original wiring and is in great working order. This piece sold during our Year End Clearance sale at 30% Off.

This statuesque Mid Century Modern Table Lamp features a sculpted mahogany frame with a solid brass rod running through its center and a sliding wooden pull that is attached by a chain. The brass rod has developed a patina over time which can be polished if so desired, but we chose to leave it in its original condition. The amber cylindrical fiberglass shade radiates a warm, pleasant glow when illuminated. The textured lampshade shows some minor signs of wear which adds to the beauty of this intricate vintage design.
