Each lamp body measures 29 inches high with a diameter of 17 inches and a circumference of 50 inches. Each chair has a spindled steel back & one chair back is lower than the other. The sturdy steel frames are virtually indestructible. The faux bois (false wood) texture on the steel frames is an interesting contrast to the voluptuous curves of the molded walnut sides. Metal construction allows for the slim legs to achieve a near horizontal posture which would be structurally impractical with wood legs of this thickness. The result is a comfortable, supportive, and stylish chair. With updated high density foam cushions, and high quality upholstery fabric, these fabulous vintage chairs have been reincarnated and are ready for your home. Founded in 1932 by two brothers-in-law, Nathan Ancelland Theodore Baumritter, Baumritter was the forerunner to Ethan Allen, one of the largest furniture companies in the United States.
